One anastomosis gastric bypass (OAGB) as a metabolic and bariatric surgery (MBS) procedure is endorsed by bariatric societies and federations, ranks third among the MBS family, and delivers promising outcomes while displaying low complications. Despite this, debates on post-OAGB reflux remain, and studies report very wide variations in the incidences. The guidance provided by position statements is, no doubt, timely and instrumental.
