We have read with great interest the recent meta-analysis by Ahmed et al. comparing single anastomosis duodeno-ileal bypass (SADI) and one anastomosis gastric bypass (OAGB) as revisional surgeries following sleeve gastrectomy (SG). The study provides valuable insights into the relative effectiveness of these two procedures in addressing weight recurrence, highlighting SADI’s superiority in weight loss at 12 months and its lower incidence of bile reflux compared to OAGB.
