Biography

  • Dr. Hany was born in Alexandria, Egypt in 1976. He then graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, Alexandria University in 2000, and went to earn his Masters degree in General Surgery in 2005.
    A Ph.D in Bariatric and Laparoscopic Surgery in 2013 further enriched his knowledge in the specialty.
  • Dr. Hany has spent his career gaining and sharing expertise in Bariatric Surgery as a consultant in multiple Hospitals across Egypt, including Madina Women’s Hospital and as a Professor of General Surgery at the Medical Research Institute, Alexandria University.

Biography

  • Dr. Bart was born in Amsterdam, The Netherlands in 1985, and from 2009 until 2022 he worked as a freelance Anesthesiologist assistant (CRNA).
  • During his work as a freelance Anesthesiologist assistant, He wanted to increase his knowledge in the medical world, which is why he started the Master of Science in Clinical Epidemiology (AMC, Amsterdam) study in which he has been working since 2014. A Ph.D. candidate at the LUMC Leiden, the Netherlands in 2015 Topic: “Peri-operative care in Obesity”
  • Furthermore, he started at Harvard University in Boston USA the postmaster Data Scientist in 2021.
  • He gain a lot of experience in different hospitals and clinics, so that’s how he continues to increase his knowledge and skills.
